Zambia men’s national soccer team coach Aljosa Asanovic says the Chipolopolo boys have prepared well for tomorrow’s 2023 Africa cup of nations qualifiers opener against Ivory Coast. Asanovic explained to FAZ media that the first game is important and that he is positive about the atmosphere in the Chipolopolo camp and the quality they have been displaying in the preparations. The Chipolopolo coach added that despite Ivory Coast being a good team with good players from top European leagues, he is confident that his boys will deliver a positive result, further appealing to Zambian soccer fans to rally behind the team tomorrow and on 7th June when they host Comoros at the Heroes national stadium. Zambia kicks off its campaign in the qualifiers against hosts Ivory Coast, who will be playing for pride at 21hrs zambian time in Abidjan, tomorrow Friday 3rd June 2022.
