The 56th edition of the Trade Fair has attracted over 800 local and foreign exhibitors.
And Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister CHIPOKA MULENGA says government is excited with the opening because the country had lost revenue owing to none hosting of the annual event.
Speaking after a match past from Jakaranda Mall all the way to the trade fair showground, the Minister thanked management at the trade fair for working tirelessly to ensure the show is open to the public amid COVID 19.
Mr. MULENGA also encouraged local exhibitors to open their stands so that they showcase their business potential to the world.
This year’s 56th Trade fair is being held under the theme “Promoting Value Addition for Sustainable Growth.”
AND Zambia international Trade fair Chairperson ELIZABETH NKUMBULA expressed happiness with the turnout for both local and international exhibitors.
