ASHOK MANIHA a 40-year-old Kitwe businessman based in Kitwe was yesterday attacked and robbed of 2,500 dollars and 40,000 kwacha cash at his house in Parklands residential area.

According to ZNBC News, four men who were armed with a pistol and driving a Toyota Allion whose registration number is not known tied ASHOK MANIHA within his house before walking away with the money.

Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer SHARON ZULU confirmed the incident ZNBC News in Kitwe.

Ms. ZULU said Mr. MANIHA reported to police that for the past three days he had been communicating with men who indicated that they wanted to buy emeralds when in fact not.

She said police have instituted investigations into the matter.
