Zambia Women National Team goalkeeper Hazel Nali has made a successful return to training after missing Monday’s 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) semi-final due to illness.

Nali trained alongside goalkeeper Letisha Lungu but there are concerns on her deputy, Catherine Musonda who is recovering from a trauma to her lower abdomen that she suffered during the 1-0 loss to South Africa.

The Copper Queens have their eyes firmly set on redemption in Friday’s bronze medal match against Nigeria after the chase for their first WAFCON title was blown away by an added time penalty.

Zambia trained at Complexe Benjelloun in Casablanca.
