KAMFINSA Blue Eagles striker Leah Lungu has dedicated her golden boot to her mother. Lungu scored 64 goals in the Copperbelt Provincial Women’s League last season.

The striker received her award last Friday during the Awards Gala.

“This one is for my mother,” she said in an interview.

Lungu was in impressive form finding the back of the net 64 times to help her team win Zone A.

“I just want to thank my coach and teammates, I am looking forward to continuing with this form so that I help my team do well in the playoffs and qualify for the National League,” she said.

She said playing in the national league brings good exposure.
