The remains of the three Malawian citizens, who died in a Road Traffic accident in Southern Province, have been transferred to Lusaka where they will be embalmed before being repatriated.
The three were part of a team of nine Malawian nationals who arrived in the country to undertake a benchmarking study tour on how Zambia is managing its medical logistics and supply systems.
According to ZNBC News, Malawian Deputy High Commissioner to Zambia Pontius Kalichero says the Mission has also managed to transport the five others, who sustained injuries in the accident.
He said one of the two that were hospitalized has been discharged, while the other is still receiving medical treatment at UTH.
He has thanked the Ministry of Health in Zambia for the overwhelming support it has given to the Mission from the time of the accident.
