A 37-year-old man of Rufunsa is battling for his life at Chongwe District Hospital after his three wives assaulted him when they allegedly caught him with another woman.
Alex Chongo, of Chief Bunda Bunda, was beaten until he became unconscious and sustained injuries in his ribs.
Poly pipes were allegedly used in the assault.
His mother, Mary Kupyapya, said the victim was assaulted by his three wives, who he lives with at the farm.
They beat him claiming they found him with another woman. They are always accusing him of buying gifts for his girlfriends while he uses them.
