Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic has named a 27-member squad for the September FIFA window international friendly matches against Mali and Libya.
Asanovic has named a mix of foreign based players led by skipper Enock Mwepu and locals among them Joshua Mutale, Ricky Banda while South based goalie Toaster Nsabata and Clatous Chama have made the squad from the legion of Africa based players.
Italian Serie A side Lecce speedster Lameck Banda and Red Star Belgrade attacker Kings Kangwa are all in the squad.
The team enters camp this weekend before trekking to Benghazi where the three-nation tournament will be hosted.
Zambia will play Libya on September 21 before facing Mali on four days later.
All teams will be fielding A teams for the FIFA approved friendly games that are being used as part of preparation for next year’s Ivory Coast 2023 (to be played in 2024) Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
