(ZNBC) A 32 year old man of Chibombo District, Central province is nursing severe wounds at Mwachisompola Level One Hospital after he was allegedly thrown into a kennel of 10 dogs, which left him severely injured following several bites.
ZANIS reports that Mcheal Kakompe was found drunk in the night, at the house of Justine Mushitu, who later dragged him into a dogs kennel.
This happened at Mbulo Chipanshya village in Chief Liteta’s area, and Mishitu has since been arrested.
Keembe Ward Councillor, Gift Mweenda has confirmed the incident to ZANIS news, saying Kakompe was only saved by people, who heard him cry for help.
Mr Mweenda says Kakompe was later taken to Mwachisompola Level One Hospital, while the matter was reported to Keembe Police Post.
