Leader of the opposition in Parliament Brain Mundubile has said the opposition Patriotic Front genuinely believes in the fight against corruption.
Mr Mundubile told the media that the party has taken a lot of interest in the matter in question.
He however said the corruption in the UPND is raising a lot of concerns.
Among the many examples of alleged corruption taking place under the reign of UPND he highlighted is the procurement of fertilizer.
Meanwhile, the opposition leader has continued jubilating over the outcome of the by elections in Luangwa.
He claimed the election results answer the question as to how the New Dawn Administration has performed in office.
“You have asked us questions to say, is your party growing? Others have asked questions to say how have the UPND performed in the last 12 months? So answers such as these would come through an earliest election,” he said.
“For the UPND’s performance for the last 12 months, the answer is what you got in Luangwa. So if anybody wanted to speculate and bring in other answers, the answer is that he people of Luangwa have spoken through an election. That is what elections do.”
