A Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTATS) Zonal Coordinator in Nakonde is in hospital for treatment after getting involved in a road accident on Sunday.
The casualty is 29-year-old Abiud Sikombe who was on his way to Ndingindi in Chiwanza Ward for supervision.
Although he’s unable to fully explain what caused the accident, Mr Sikombe has told Chete FM news he only remembers is waking up at Chilolwa clinic after his motorbike flipped several times.
He has sustained multiple injuries.
Nakonde District Medical Licentiate Abraham Ng’ambila has told Chete FM News that Mr Sikombe is stable.
He will, however, remain in hospital “for further management..to make sure that if there’s any pathology, we’re able to see what we can do for him,” says Mr Ng’ambila.
