Kanchibiya member of parliament Sunday Chanda has proposed to move a private member’s motion in the National Assembly on October 12, 2022 to push for improved conditions of service for councillors.
He wrote:
I have requested the Acting Clerk that on the 12th October 2022, I move a motion in the National Assembly urging government to improve the conditions of service for Councillors.
I am highly indebted to Hon I. Wamunyima, MP for Nalolo Constituency for graciously agreeing to second this non-contentious motion.
