(FAZ) The Zambia Senior Men’s National Team has left Bamako after having played one international friendly match against Mali with the second game being called off due to bad weather.
Mali won Friday’s match 1-0 played at the Stade du 26 Mars.
The second match was called off after 16 minutes due to a heavy downpour.
European based players have flown back to their bases with the local contingent and South Africa based players leaving on the same flight.
The FIFA window matches were organized as part of preparation for next March’s Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
