Chief Pembamoyo of the Chewa people in Vubwi District, Eastern Province has banned the Gulewamkulu group for going against the directive not to perform during school days.
This comes after the same group that is domiciled around Mbozi school beat up a teacher on her way to the same school on Monday.
Resulting from the beating, teachers at the same school staged a class boycott.
The Traditional leaders has however assured the teachers that such a thing will never happen.
After a meeting with Chief Pembamoyo, teachers have resumed work.
