Stop charging exorbitant prices for goods and services, Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga has told local suppliers.
Mr. Mulenga said during a meeting with the North Western Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NWCCI) that local businesses are struggling to compete with multinational suppliers because of the exorbitant prices and poor quality of their services.
The Minister said local suppliers should focus on building their supply chain so that they can start competing with multinational suppliers adding that foreign companies are avoiding local suppliers because of the high prices of their goods.
