After a prolonged delay for the people of Kabushi Constituency to have a representative in parliament due to court issues, all is finally set for the long awaited by-election.

A check by Diamond News at Ndola Primary School found poll staff being prepared and recieving gear in readiness for dispatch to various polling stations.

Ballot papers for the by-election where in around 19:00 hours on Wednesday before the verification process was carried out by ECZ and other stakeholders on Thursday morning.

Ndola District Election Officer Shilla Songolo says the district is ready to carry out the election tomorrow Friday 21st 2022.

The Kabushi Parliamentary seat is being contest by four people namely Bernard Kanengo of the UPND and Osias Telela of the Leadership Movement.

Others are Richard Kalasa, an Independent and Alfred Yombo, another Independent candidate.

Polling stations are expected to open at 08:00hrs and cose at 18:00hrs. This is contained in a report published b Diamond TV.
