The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation- ZNBC- will broadcast live the 2022 Qatar world cup that starts next month.
ZNBC – Head Corporate Affairs ANNIE MUKABE says the corporation has secured the broadcast rights at a cost of 120,000 dollars.
Ms. MUKABE has since appealed to the business community, to take advantage of the anticipated high number of viewers that will be following the international show piece, to advertise their products and services.
She says this will help to enable the broadcaster meet the cost of transmitting the matches.
Ms. MUKABE says programming on the TV1 Channel will be adjusted to accommodate the games.
The 2022 Qatar world cup will start on November 20th, 2022 and will run until December 18th 2022.
