The Choma Museum and Crafts Center, Monday evening, launched the Gabriel Ellison Exhibitions in memory of the artist who helped design the Zambia flag and other national symbols.

Gabriel Ellison was a Zambian artist best known for assisting in designing the national flag of Zambia as well as many of country’s postal stamps from the 1960s to 1980s when she was Head of the Graphic Arts section at the Ministry of Information.

Ellison, who died in 2017, is having her work being exhibited in Choma Museum for two months beginning 31st October to 31st December, 2022. This is contained in a report published by Byta FM.
