SOME male teachers at a girls’ missionary school in Lusaka have allegedly been s*xually abusing pupils but authorities at the institution have been accused of concealing the vice.
According to sources, when authorities were informed about a suspected case of s*xual abuse last month, they instead suspended the victim – a 13-year-old girl – accusing her of “enticing” her alleged defiler with suggestive text messages.
Two male teachers have in the recent past been fingered as having s*xually abused pupils but none has been made to face the consequences.
“We received an influx of teachers engaged under PTA (Parents Teachers Association), they (teachers) are not yet in service.
But the male teachers are in this habit of having s*x with pupils,” a source revealed. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
