PF wishful presidential candidate Brain Mundubile says EEP leader Chilufya Tayali is not too well.
Mr Mundubile said he has been told by Tayali that he was mistreated and tortured.
He however wondered why police officers are desperate in trying to gag freedom of speech.
Leader of the opposition in Parliament said this when he addressed the media after he visited Tayali today.
“We had a chat with him. He is not too well. He has informed us that he was mistreated, he was harassed and tortured, something that is new to this constitutional democracy of ours. It is very unfortunate that the police are having …. all to try and gag freedom of speech,” he said.
“All Tayali has been doing is just to use his mouth. We all know that it is slightly over a year that the UPND have been in power. Look at how many times President Hichilema himself made statements against president Edgar Lungu.”
Meanwhile, Mr Mundubile called on President Hakainde Hichilema to instruct the police to stop violating people’s right’s with immediate effect.
