(ZNBC) GOVERNMENT says over 7400 passports remain uncollected at Passport Offices in Lusaka and Ndola.
Home Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary Josephs Akafumba says the uncollected passports include 3913 passports in Lusaka and 3500 in Ndola.
Akafumba says the Passport office has enough booklets to print passports and other travel documents.
Speaking shortly after touring the passport office in Lusaka, Mr. Akafumba advised the public who applied for passports to pass through the passport office and collect their documents.
Akafumba also dispelled social media speculation that Government plans to increase cover costs for passports.
