While other people talked about pressing issues such as load shedding and the high cost of living, comedian Bwana Njombe has reported the Kmillian story to President Hakainde Hichilema.

The story of the talented musician has for some time been taking rounds on social media.

It all started with an ugly face as Yango Drivers accused the living legend of failing to pay for his rides.

In a blink of an eye, the story took a beautiful turn as people flooded social media with pledges towards the purchase of Kmillian’s vehicle.

Luansya business tycoon named Mwansa Chama is among those that pledged to render help.

In his Facebook post three days ago, Mr Chama wrote “I have received Kmillian’s news with dismay and torment. A person of his caliber deserves all the roses while he is still alive as opposed to shame,”

“Therefore, I pledge to buy him a Mercedes benz c200 on Friday this week.”

And when the President today asked “Ma First born, how was it while we were away? Nichani chinachitika?” on his Facebook page upon return from the US, Bwana Njombe wrote in the comment section that “Sir kuli nkani ya Benz kuno. Uyu Loya Simon Mulenga Mwila apyepyesha tayikuni waku Luanshya who obtained over 10K followers on Facebook after pledging to buy Kmillian a C200 Benz and have it delivered on Friday. Though he didn’t specify which Friday,”

“Maybe he meant the Last Friday of the year 2090. Otherwise security wise kuli nkani yama junky. More details I will give you in person when watching the Argentina vs France match at Community State House. Welcome back Your Excellency Sir.”

Meanwhile, the musician in question yesterday claimed that he has been paying for the rides, as opposed to the claims by the Yango drivers.
