(ZNBC) Three people among them a six months pregnant woman have escaped death after being involved in a road accident this morning.

The accident occured in Lusaka’s chalala area at the junction of Tokyo way and New Kasama road.

This was after the vehicle Toyota Noah registration number ALK 509 which was carrying the victims over turned when it hit into a concrete pillar.

The victims have since been rushed to the hospital by a ZNBC Crew after sustaining injuries.

The family that was on it way to the hospital by the accident occured was rescued by a group of local people.

And Driver of car Fredrick Nkhoma said the accident happened after he lost control upon hitting into the pillar.

Mr Nkhoma has since appealed to the Road Development Agency- RDA- to consider mounting higher pillars so that it’s easy for motorist to see.

And Accident Survivor Phoebe Nkhoma said her father In-law was taking her husband Bright Nkhoma to hospital for physiotherapy when the car overturned.
