(ZANIS) The Pedicle road has been closed to heavy duty trucks for the next 14 to 21 days, to facilitate works on stretches that have become impassable.
Luapula Province Minister Derrick Chilundika has announced that beginning next Monday, January 23, 2023, all cargo trucks weighing beyond 20 tonnes will no longer be expected to use the Pedicle road as an alternative route.
