ZAMBIA National Service (ZNS) Commander Lieutenant General Maliti Solochi has said ZNS and the National Service Project Organisation (NSO) of Egypt are vital in contributing to national development through their involvement in projects of national importance.

Lt Gen Solochi has therefore called for strengthened bilateral relations between the two institutions.

He said ZNS and the National Service Project Organisation of Egypt should work together for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

Lt Gen Solochi made these remarks when Egypt Defence Attache’ to South Africa with extra accreditation to Zambia Colonel Terek Muhammed paid a courtesy call on him recently.

“I believe our two institutions are vital in contributing to national development through their involvement in projects of national importance. Your Excellency, I am aware that the National Service Project Organisation of Egypt is involved in various develomental projects and ZNS has a lot to learn,” he said.

Meanwhile, Col Terek said there is need for the two institutions to continuously engage and share knowledge on various issues of national development.

“Zambia and Egypt are friends who share long standing bilateral relations which we should endeavour to build on.

We need to continue working together so that our people should enjoy the benefits of our relations,” he said
