09/02/2023. Police have apprehended the mother of the baby identified as Oyice Hangoma aged 22 of Kalundu view compound in Shikoswe area who is alleged to have dumped a baby in the bush.
Her elder sister of the same address confirmed to Police that her sister was pregnant but on February 7, 2023 around 08:00 hours she lied to her that she had a miscarriage.
The suspect was apprehended today, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 hours. She is currently detained in Police custody.
