The matter in which former Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya and eight (8) others were accused of conspiracy to defraud the Zambian government in connection to procurement of Honeybee drugs has been discontinued.
When the matter came up for commencement of trial, the prosecution team made an application to discontinue the matter pursuant to section 88 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This is contained in a report published by Fyambe media.
