A 27-year-old suspected serial k!ller of Kitwe who had initially pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of r@pe and m@rder intends to change his plea and admit to all the charges.
Miguel Musonda, a businessman of Kandabwe Township, had applied before the Kitwe High Court to take fresh plea.
Having pleaded not guilty to the charges initially, trial was supposed to commence on Tuesday but the suspect, who is charged with 11 counts of m@rder and three for r@pe, came in with an application.
It is alleged that Musonda committed the offences between January 16 and January 21, 2021.
He is accused of m@rdering Agness Mwansa, Sylvia Mukosha, Edina Mubanga, Diana Mushibwa, Cynthia Bwalya, Cynthia Kapalwa, Lucy Kalowa.
