A NIPA fourth-year computer science student has sued the school for disqualifying him from the 2022 semester examinations.

Martin Nyirenda was disqualified after a hand-written paper, commonly known as mfuti, was allegedly found in his answer script.

The institution further suspended him for enrolling for the 2023 first semester in connection with the same alleged examination malpractice.

But Mr Nyirenda has now gone to Lusaka High Court seeking an order to quash the institution’s decision to nullify all the courses he undertook during the 2022 semester.
