(ZNBC) Chalimbana University Students have applauded President Hakainde Hichilema for reintroducing meal allowances.
Chalimbana Students Union -CHAUSU- President Gabriel Simutowe said the meal allowances have reduced pressure among students.
Mr. Simutowe says the over 10-thousand students at Chalimbana are elated with the President’s move as their grades will not improve because of total focus on education and not their welfare.
Speaking during the launch of the National Decentralization Policy and Commissioning of the Zambia Devolution Support Program at Chalimbana Local Government training institute in Chongwe, Mr. Simutowe further said President Hichilema has employed teachers and health workers and has increased CDF which has seen young Zambians admitted in higher learning institutions.
