(FAZ) With just a day before the Chipolopolo trod on the pitch to hunt the elephants of Ivory Coast, coach Avram Grant and his technical staff have continued preparing for the crunch tie.
The Chipolopolo shifted base to the battle ground which is the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and had an intensive session.
The squad retained a businesslike approach to training punctuated by moments of light-heartedness.
Zambia needs at least a point from Saturday’s match to punch their ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (to be played in 2024).
Ironically, they have already qualified Ivory Coast in their way for a trip to Abidjan.
