(ZNBC) The Czech Republic has commended Zambia for efforts made towards bringing an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Visiting Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavsky notes that on many occasions Zambia has joined the wide condemnation of the war.
Speaking at a reception hosted for him in Lusaka, Mr. Lipavsky says Zambia’s position is in line with the United Nations charter.
Meanwhile, the Czech Minister has disclosed that his country is in the process of developing a new strategy for partnership with Zambia, which is expected to be rolled out from 2024 to 2030.
Mr. Lipavsky notes that Zambia is one of the priority countries that the Czech Republic has identified to partner with in different sectors.
Speaking at the same event, Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo, expressed delight with the strategy for partnership that is currently being prepared by the Czech government.
Ms. Masebo expressed confidence that the strategy will take cooperation between the two nations to higher level.
