An 80 year old man of Siambabala Ward in Gwembe District was allegedly shot dead by unknown people at his residence on Thursday July 20, 2023.
Siambabala Ward Councillor Misheck Hantimba confirmed the incident to Chikuni Radio News and identified the deceased as Dickson Maluza of Habuntula Village in Chief Chipepo.
Mr Hantimba says the incident happened on Thursday night around 19:00 hrs at the deceased’s place.
The Councillor reveals that the matter was reported to the police.
Police are yet to issue a statement.
The deceased is survived by three wives and sixteen children.
