A 38-year-old Yango driver identified as Nicholas Chishimba has been killed by unknown people in Lusaka.
The body of Chishimba of Kamwala South was discovered by a 65-year-old woman of kabwata site and service yesterday, August 27, 2023 around 06:30 hours.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale says the deceased was found trapped between a motor vehicle, Toyota Sienta and a wall fence and that police officers who rushed to the scene discovered that the deceased had multiple injuries on his body as sharp instruments are suspected to have been used in the act.
Mr. Mwale says preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was operating as a Yango driver and that he was attacked by unknown people.
He says investigations into the killing of the deceased has been instituted.
