Leicester City striker Patson Daka failed to complete a loan move to premier league side Bournemouth.

Patson Daka’s reported move was close to completion, following resumption of discussions between the two clubs.

Person Terms between Daka and Bournemouth where not a concern going into the final hours of the transfer Deadline Day.

Bournemouth had Patson Daka in their list in the last two weeks and discussions with Leicester had been positive.

Six hours before close of the transfer window, discussions between Bournemouth and Leicester had begun and the deal was set to be completed with all sides felling positive.

Sources say Leicester had agreed to let Daka join Bournemouth on loan, but Leicester needed an option to buy clause included in the deal.

Discussions broke down as Bournemouth wanted a loan deal without an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

The fee was reportedly set around 2 million pounds for a loan and between 18-20 million pounds for an outright purchase.

Following breakdown in negations with Leicester, Bournemouth went ahead and signed Leeds United forward Luis Sinisterra.

Close sources to the deal say, Patson Daka’s priority has always been to stay in England since the opening of the summer transfer window.

The Zambian international was keen to return to the premier league following Leicester City’s relegation to the championship.
