A corpse of a woman suspected to be in her 50’s has been discovered along the rail line opposite Choma’s Intercity Bus Station.
A relative to the deceased who preferred to remain anonymous has identified the late as Linet Saiyinga of Tukonkote in Mwapona Compound.
He narrates that on Sunday, the deceased was attending a Come-together party in Zimbabwe Compound after which she left with a group of friends around 17 hours heading back home.
He states that on Monday morning, the husband to the deceased complained that his wife had not yet returned home from the party, with information later emerging that she was found d£ad.
A check by Byta FM News found Police presence on the scene, with a statement yet to be issued.
