Former Republican President Edgar Lungu says he has a clear conscience, asking Zambians to remove a perception that he is holding on to their blessings.
The former President said this at Sharom Embassy Church in Lusaka’s Garden House area yesterday where he went to observe the National Day of Prayers, Repentance and Reconciliation.
Mr. Lungu also disclosed that he holds no grudge against anyone.
Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema has called on Zambians to remain prayerful and united.
He said this in a speech read on his behalf by Vice President Mutale Nalumango at the Lusaka Showgrounds during the observance of the National Day of Prayers under the theme, Building Zambia for Greater Development Through Prayer, Unity and Hard Work.
