In a shocking turn of events on the outskirts of Serenje, a terrible accident involving a Tanzanian-owned luxury coach and a truck has left a devastating toll. Reports suggest that at least 15 individuals have lost their lives, while the police are working to determine the exact number of casualties amidst the chaos.
The accident occurred merely five kilometers away from the Serenje post, where the serenity of the day was shattered by a calamitous collision. Eyewitnesses claim that the truck driver’s ill-fated attempt to overtake resulted in a catastrophic mistake. In the midst of overtaking, the driver spotted another vehicle approaching and collided with the bus, igniting a terrifying fire.
