A check at Soweto and BH markets found truckloads of the commodity with agents competing to catch some sales.
Agents and traders found at Lusaka’s BH and Soweto markets attributed the drop to a flood of the commodity on the market.
Since January this year, the demand for tomatoes was higher than supply with prices ranging from K6 each at the beginning of the month.
