Remains of a man identified as Owen Siapulanga have been discovered along the rail line at Kaleya Station in Mazabuka District, Wednesday morning.
Information provided to Byta FM News by an unnamed source indicates that the deceased is from Choma District, with his remains found lying motionless along the tracks, discovered by a passerby.
Meanwhile, Mazabuka District Commissioner, Oliver Mulomba, who visited the scene accompanied by police officers, described the incident as saddening.
He noted that just a month ago, remains of a woman were discovered in the same area, urging authorities and the community to work together to ensure that those responsible for such incidents are brought to justice.
By broadcast time, police were yet to issue a statement, and the body has been taken to Mazabuka General Hospital, where it awaits a postmortem examination.
