FC MUZA proprietor Keith Mweemba who is among the eight unsuccessful candidates contesting in the upcoming FAZ elections has described the disqualifying of candidates from the race as a joke .
This follows the announcement of the official candidates by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Electoral Committee.
Unsuccessful candidates have been given the opportunity to appeal before February 22, 2025, ahead of the final list’s publication in the next five days.
Electoral Committee chairperson Ronald Hatoongo revealed the approved candidates, with incumbent Andrew Kamanga emerging as the sole candidate for the FAZ presidency, while two candidates qualified for the vice presidency.
