Celebrated musician Macky 2 has urged Zambia’s “biggest musical star” (arguably) to ignore the drama surrounding the mealie meal and chicken he bought during the funeral of legendary musician Dandy Krazy.
Videos have gone viral on different platforms showing bags of mealie meal dumped at the gate of YO Maps’ house.
Netizens are insinuating that it could be a “refund” for the donation the musician made during the funeral procession.
But Macky 2, on his Facebook page this morning said posted the picture of Yo Maps saying “hey young king… ignore all this and stay focused on your goals. Please don’t waste anymore time and energy on this.”
He also implored those who cared about King Dandy to respected the family and let the legend rest in peace.
Prior to this development, Yo Maps went viral for calling out “broke artistes” who criticized him for doing a tribute song for King Dandy.
In a viral video, he scorned the said artists saying “they are broke” adding that they were criticising him for the song but ate the food he bought at the funeral.
The statement did not sit well with a lot of musicians.
