A Mozambican truck driver narrowly escaped death when the truck he was driving lost control and overturned on Chanida-Katete Road, near Mukuntiwa Village, within Chief Kawaza’s area.
According to our crospondent, who rushed to the scene, the driver, identified as Chavier Parafino, sustained bruises but was out of danger. He lost control of the truck bearing registration number AAY 185 SF, while navigating a pothole.
The truck was en route from Chanida border to Katete Boma when the accident occurred.
At the time of reporting, police officers were present at the accident scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The accident has raised concerns regarding road safety in the area, given the frequency of accidents recorded on the same road.
