At the heart of every successful woman is a story of resilience and perseverance. On Saturday, Absa Bank Zambia took a moment to honor those stories at an amazing Women’s Month Celebration Brunch. The event, graced by Vice President Mrs. W.K. Mutale Nalumango and Hon. Princess Kasune, was a gathering of inspiring women from all walks of life.
Women from diverse backgrounds shared their stories and received recognition. It was a particularly special day for Ms. Elizabeth Kutemba Luneta, an entrepreneur who has a very special relationship with Absa Bank Zambia.
For years, she has provided fresh fruits and vegetables to Absa’s employees, first at Kafue House and now opposite Absa House. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication embody the essence of perseverance.
To support her growth, Absa Bank Zambia onboarded her onto a Twende account (Absa’s zero-maintenance-fee solution for unbanked individuals) ensuring she has access to the right financial tools. She also received a K10,000 for her business.
Ms. Luneta’s story is a powerful reminder that success is built on resilience and opportunity. Absa is committed to celebrating and empowering people from all walks of life.
