Chama District Commissioner, Yobe Goma has confirmed that Bast Goma will be coronated today as the new Senior Chief Kambombo of the Senga people of Chama District.
Mr. Goma, who becomes the 20th Senior Chief Kambombo, has been serving as the Senior Group Headman Kapalakonje.
The coronation ceremony is scheduled to take place at the palace, marking a significant traditional and cultural milestone for the Senga people of Chama District.
The coronation ceremony will be graced by the Eastern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Dr Lewis Mwape.
