A 23-Year-Old Man in Chipata District of the Eastern Province is on the run after allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
Eastern Province Police Commissioner Robertson Mweemba confirmed the incident which he said occurred on July 31, 2025, at 19:00 hours.
The matter was reported to the Police on August 10, 2025, by the victim’s mother.Mr. Mweemba says the victim sustained painful injuries to her private parts, and a police medical report was issued.
He says a docket has been opened, but no arrest has been made yet.
