At 13:15 today Lundazi Town Council’s fire brigade received a report of a house fire at a two-bedroom dwelling along Church Road near the New Apostolic Church. The home, belonging to 32-year-old Mrs. Leah Chibanga, was partially burnt and several household goods were destroyed.
The Brigade personnel, working alongside community members, brought the blaze under control and extinguished it.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established and an investigation is ongoing.
