We want to finish with pride, says Zambia CHAN team skipper Kelvin Kampamba.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani Stadium, Kampamba said the Zambian team would show passion and pride on Sunday.
“We want to finish CHAN with pride. We are hungry for victory against Kenya in tomorrow’s game,” he said.“We know it won’t be an easy game because they are the host nation, but we also need to show our passion and our pride for our nation.”
Kampamba says the team acknowledged that they had disappointed the fans back home but would fight to redeem themselves.
“We have disappointed a lot of fans back home, but us as players will give it our all tomorrow,” he said.
Zambia concludes its Group A assignment at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani Stadium in a 14h00 CAT (Zambian time) kickoff.
