A mini bus has been burnt near Kulima Tower bus station in Lusaka.
According to the driver, identified only as Ian, he discovered the bus in flames as he returned from the station where he had gone to register his bus on the departure list.
The cause of the fire has not been established yet.
An eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, believes that no lives were lost.
The fire brigade team was seen trying to quench the flames, although the bus had already been badly burnt.
The police have not yet issued a statement.
