Football enthusiast Patson Kawewe says the first 100 days of Keith Mweemba’s tenure as Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) President have largely been about reconciliation.
Reacting to a performance post on Sun Sports TV’s Facebook page, Kawewe explained that key disputes, including the Nora case, have been resolved. He said debts have been cleared and legal actions withdrawn from FIFA.
He added that coach Avram Grant has received part of his payment and is expected to be fully settled this week, while other outstanding obligations in different countries are also being addressed.
Kawewe further noted that the Asanovic case is making progress, stressing that these measures were put in place while awaiting FAZ Council approval.
“The first 100 days, according to our manifesto, were meant to tackle reconciliation and restore unity within FAZ,” Kawewe said, emphasizing that Mweemba’s administration is focused on stabilizing the association.
